Delores Mary St. Romain, 88, Hessmer

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Delores Mary St. Romain will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer, LA. with Father Derek Ducote officiating. Entombment will be held at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.
Mrs. St. Romain, age 88, of Hessmer, LA., passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clebert St. Romain; her parents, Teska and Louenia Pouche Dubroc; three sons, Bruce St. Romain, Michael St Romain, Philoge St. Romain; one daughter, Cynthia Bowman; brothers, Roland Dubroc, Morile Dubroc, Arron Dubroc; two grandchildren, Andy Drouin and Christy Laborde.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary St. Romain (Shirley) of Cottonport and Clebert Peter St. Romain of Hessmer; daughters, Jeanne Lemoine of Hessmer, Debra Fontenot (John) of Marksville; brother, LeaLand Dubroc of White Castle, LA.; sisters, Mavis Armand of Levonia, Beverly Ducote of Baton Rouge and Inez Cooper of Zachary, LA.; twenty four grandchildren,; numerous great and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Tarvis Fontenot, Kevin Fontenot, Glenn Laborde, Alex Fontenot, Ryan Fontenot, Grant Fontenot, Travis Fontenot, Jr. and Adam St. Romain.
