Denny “Winkey” Gagnard, 72, Hessmer

Funeral services for Mr. Denny “Winkey” Gagnard will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Bro. David Wilson Officiating. Burial will be held at the Ft. DeRussy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Gagnard, age 72, of Hessmer, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Gagnard; parents, Daniel and Zoie Gagnard, numerous brothers and sisters and one great-grandchild.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Louise Gagnard of Hessmer; two sons, Dwayne Ardoin of Ville Platte, Ronald Gagnard of Hessmer; one daughter, Shannon Valois of Marksville; one sister, Nola Mae Bernard of Marksville; eleven grandchildren, Tanner Phillips, Alexia Valois, Katrina Phillips, Isaac Rabalais, Gracie Rabalais, Brittney Ardoin, Nicholas Ardoin, Chasity Warthen, Danielle Gagnard, Heidi Gagnard, Chelsey Gagnard and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville.
