Dora Bryant, 62, Effie

Funeral services for Ms. Dora Lee Bryant will be announced at a later date. Services will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will be held at St. Genevieve Cemetery in Brouillette. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.
Ms. Bryant, age 62, passed away on April 28, 2021 in Effie, LA at her residence.
Ms. Bryant is survived by her mother, Elladean DeSoto Bryant of Brouillette; sisters, Brenda Taylor (Charles), Anita Mayeaux (Glenn) both of Brouillette, Margaret Hughes (David) of Effie, Ramona Hughes, Marlene Voinche (Jerrel) both of Marksville, and Michelle Ward (Wayne) of LeBeau.
Ms. Bryant is preceded in death by her father, J.C. Bryant and nephew, Kevin Taylor.
Visitation will be held at a later date in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
