Dorothy Marie Gaspard, formerly of Marksville

A memorial service for Dorothy Gaspard, of Pineville, will begin at 5:00pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.

Dorothy Marie Gaspard, a resident of Pineville, Louisiana, formerly of Marksville, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her home. She was born on November 3rd, 1938 in Houma, Louisiana to Peter and Bertha Trahan Lebouef. Throughout her life she enjoyed many adventures with her husband Tiny of almost 48 years.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzle making, crocheting, knitting and a good canasta game. She was an excellent cook, who loved feeding family and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren and felt they were her greatest accomplishments. She was proud of each and every one. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sister, Mable Rousselle, Mildred Rousselle, Nora Buxuet, Laura Mae Dufrene and Lois Hays, one brother Lawrence Lebouef.
Survivors include her husband; Malcolm Gaspard, daughter; Patricia Dodge (Wayne) of Deville, three sons; Aubry Tyler (Diane) of Center Point, Gene Jr. Tyler (Cindy) of Center Point and Randy Tyler of Deville, two brothers; Jerry and William Lebouef, both of Houma, Louisiana, along with seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will begin at 2:00pm until time of service on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.
