Dorothy Ponthieux Guillory, 78, Marksville

Memorial services for Mrs. Dorothy Ponthieux Guillory will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Guillory, age 78, of Marksville, LA., formerly of Mansura, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ponthieux, Fredna Ann Dauzat; brothers, Rudy Ponthieux, Walter Ponthieux, Harold Ponthieux, and Haven Ponthieux.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Clyston J. Guillory Sr; son, Clyston J. Guillory Jr. of Mansura; daughters, Debra Armand of Hessmer, Melinda Goudeau of Mansura; sisters, Jane Normand of Hessmer, Norma St. Romain of Marksville; 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 12:00 noon until time of service.
