Dwight Todd Normand, 50, Belledeau

Services for Dwight Todd Normand will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in the chapel of Kramer of Fifth Ward with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will follow in Lamartiniere cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023, and resume from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Kramer of Fifth Ward.

Todd Normand, 50, of Belledeau, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, in Alexandria.

Todd is preceded in death by his father, Dwight Joseph Normand.

Todd Normand was born on April 26, 1973, and will be remembered as a man of deep, Christian faith. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. Todd took great pride in everything he did and his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Todd never knew a stranger and would lend a helping hand to those in need. He also would listen to anyone who needed to speak with him. Todd loved the outdoors and especially loved to hunt, fish, and go frogging. His favorite hunting seasons were squirrel and duck season. Todd loved his evening hunts, stating that, “there was just something about an evening sunset.” Todd will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his wife, Dawn Juneau Normand of Belledeau; his two daughters, Brooke Blevins and husband, Michael Craig, of Belledeau and Becki Daigrepont and husband, Vincent, of Marksville; two granddaughters, Luna Rose Daigrepont of Marksville and Khloe Mae Blevins of Belledeau; one grandson, John Michael Blevins of Belledeau; his mother, Louise Ann Tassin Normand of Mansura; two sisters, Tara Daigrepont and husband, Daniel, of Fifth Ward and Elizabeth Dauzat and husband, Rickey, of Belledeau; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Vincent Daigrepont, Michael Craig Blevins, Dylon Palmer, Seth Dauzat, Josh Dauzat, and Tommy Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Bellow and Josh Mayeux.
