Elaine Jeansonne, 62, Mansura

Funeral services for Mrs. Elaine Gaspard Jeansonne will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Reverend Justin Berry officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Jeansonne, age 62, of Mansura LA., passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Evie Frost Gaspard; sister, Judy Normand.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Numa Jeansonne, Jr. of Mansura, LA.; son, Johnathan Jeansonne (Caitlyn Perry) of Lafayette, LA.; daughter, Lacey Bonnette (Tramaine) of Hessmer, LA.; brothers, Malcolm Gaspard of Pineville, LA., Joseph Gaspard of Marksville, LA., and Rodney Gaspard of Shreveport, LA.; sisters, Beverly Gaspard of Pollock, LA., Patty Kelly of Pollock, LA., Matilda Provet of Pineville, LA., Mattie Lemoine of Dupont, LA., and Marlene Hines, of MS. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Braylon and Kinsley Bonnette.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
