Emma Lou Venable, 85, Bunkie

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for EmmaLou Aymond Armand Venable on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating. Burial will be in the Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m - 9:45 a.m.
Mrs. Venable.\, age 85, of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Bayou Vista Nursing Center. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darson Armand, Jr.; her son, Thomas Wayne Armand; her infant daughter, Kimberly Armand; her brother, Dale Aymond; her sister, Gloria Aymond and her parents, Haywood and Maggie Bordelon Aymond.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Venable of Bunkie; her daughter, Darla Troha of Memphis, TN; her son, Jerry Armand and his wife, Marie, of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Kevin Troha, Dana Troha, Stacey Combest and Tonya Guillory and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Guillory, Landon Guillory, Brennon Combest, Brayden Troha and Brooklyn Troha.
