Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Joseph Lamartiniere, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12th, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers funeral Home in Marksville, LA. with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Burial will be at Lamartiniere Cemetery in Fifth Ward, LA. under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Mr. Lamartiniere, 65, of Baton Rouge, LA., formerly from Fifth Ward, LA., passed from this life on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at his residence in Baton Rouge,LA.
Mr. Floyd served as an Army Veteran. He was a loving father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren whom he loved and adored and enjoyed spending time with them every second he had!
Mr. Lamartiniere is preceded in death by his parents, Laniel, Sr. and Margie Fausphoul Lamartiniere.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Revelea Lamartiniere of Baton Rouge LA.; sons, Floyde “Doober” Lamartiniere, Jr. of Alexandria, LA.; step sons, Mark Newman of Prairieville, LA., Mitchell Newman of Baton Rouge, LA.; daughter, Leslie Lamartiniere of Alexandria, LA.; brothers, Scotty Lamartiniere of Woodworth, LA., David Lamartiniere of Fifth Ward, LA., Laniel “Sput Nick” Lamartiniere, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, Gary Lamartiniere and Bradley Lamartiniere both of Monroe, LA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Krissy Lamartiniere, Trent Lamartinere, Cannon Newman, Mikayla “Mika” Webber, Reese Flynn, and Eliana “Ellie” Newman.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Floyd Lamartiniere, David Lamartiniere, Scotty Lamartiniere, Jeremy Johnson, Charles Brady, Mark Newman, and Mike-Mike George.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA. Visitation will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of the service.
