Freddie Joseph Normand, age 88, of Marksville

Funeral services for Mr. Freddie Joseph Normand will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Schupbach officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville. 

Mr. Normand, age 88, of Marksville, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at his residence. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby John and Mable Bordelon Normand; wife, Lela Paul Normand and one son, Kim Normand. 

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Keith Normand and wife Jan of Harvey, LA; five grandchildren, David Normand and wife Phuong of Picayune, MS, Dareth Normand Decareaux and husband, Daniel of Gretna, LA, Michael Normand and wife Ashley of Harvey, La, Millie Normand and Morgan Normand, both of Plano, TX; three great grandchildren, Liam Decareaux, Brooke Decareaux, both of Gretna, LA and Sedley Normand of Picayune, MS. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. until funeral service time.
