Hank Steven Normand, 70, Marksville

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Hank Steven Normand will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Brouillette, LA. with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mr. Normand, age 70, of Marksville, LA., passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his son, Desmond Normand; parents, Joseph and Sylvia Lachney Normand.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Glendon Normand (Dana) and Derrick Smith both of Marksville; one brother, David Normand (Jane) of Marksville; two sisters, Dorothy Winchester (Mike) of Alexandria, LA. and Ruby Krinsavage of Vidalia, LA.; six grandchildren, Hailey DeCuir, Lexi Normand, Luke Normand, Brooke Normand, Leon Smith, and Kaia Smith; one great grandchild, Tatum DeCuir; and special friend, Linda Adams.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Visitation will reopen on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
