Harold Paul Bonnette, 88, Fifth Ward

Funeral services for Mr. Harold Paul Bonnette will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Brother Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery # 3. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mr. Bonnette, age 88, of Fifth Ward, LA., passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Regency House, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Bordelon Bonnette; parents, Wilson and Alice Mayeaux Bonnette; brother, Errol “Bobby” Bonnette; sister, Ina “Sis” McWey.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Craig Bonnette (Rhonda) of Fifth Ward; daughter, Stacey Gagnard of Fifth Ward; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home and will reopen on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Keith Bonnette, Sr., Keith Bonnette, Jr., Bryan Bonnette, Jeffery Gagnard, Terry Bonnette and Craig Bonnette. Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Holloway.
