Helen Moreau, 89, Batchelor

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Mary Moreau will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson, Keith Bazar officiating. Interment will be held at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Simmesport, La. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.

Mrs. Moreau, age 89, of Batchelor, LA. passed on Monday, November 6, 2023 in her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Abner Moreau, Sr.; sons, Michael Moreau and Abner Moreau, Jr.; parents, Horien and Frances Bordelon; brothers, Curtiss Bordelon, Forrest Bordelon, Belton Bordelon, James Bordelon, Rilean Bordelon, Lawrence Bordelon, Jessie Bordelon, Otis Bordelon, Calvin Bordelon; sister, Lethia Smith; son-in-law, Jason Bazar.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shelia Bazer of Batchelor, LA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
