Jacqueline Ann Young, 55, Marksville

Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Ann Young will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Congregational First Baptist Church with her brother-in-law, Pastor Cory Young, officiating. Interment will be at Congregational First Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Young, age 55, of Marksville, LA., passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Memorial Herman Northeast Hospital in Humble, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles S. and Lucille Hudson Trudell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Christopher Young of Marksville, LA.; son, Tramaine C. Young and wife, Charlene of Lafayette, LA; daughters, Cortney T. Young and Jacqlyn Y. Parks both of Houston, TX.; brothers, Charles P. Batiste of San Antonio, TX., Dynell S. Trudell and wife, Tosha of Ball, LA., and Raymond L. Carger and wife, Sharri of San Antonio, TX.; sister, Monique Trudell of Augusta, GA. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Christian B. Williams, Londyn R. Charrier, Ke’lene Hyman, and Zayla Longstreet.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Devyn Roy, Sr., Ervin Young, Jr., Nathaniel Burwell, Peter Oliver, Jr., Marcus Batiste, Darreon Trudell, Bruce Young, Jr., Wesley Young, and Benjamin Young.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Congregational First Baptist Church. Visitation will reopen Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the church.
