Jacqueline Quebedeaux, 54, Marksville

Funeral services for Ms. Jacqueline Marie Quebedeaux will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Brouillette. with Father Abraham Palakkattuchuria officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Ms. Quebedeaux, age 54, of Marksville, LA. passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

"Jackie" loved listening to her Rock-N-Roll music, especially from the 80's. She and Ross loved taking the free ride on the Harley Davidson motorcycle, a place to clear your mind and become a free soul. she also loved to hang out with friends and family, browsing various antique shops, and traveling anywhere the wind took her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her companion, Ross Gauthier of Cottonport, LA.; parents, Fred and Beryl Laborde Dauzat of Marksville, LA.; son, Taylor Quebedeaux (Tiffany) of Hessmer; sisters, Casey Bordelon (Greg) of Blue Town; Dana Gaspard (B.J.) of Fifthward; three nephews, Zachary Dubroc, Abram Bordelon, and Jakob Bordelon; four nieces, Layken O’Neal, Kayla Neal, Danielle Higginbotham; and Gracie Bordelon. She also is survived by a host of great nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Mike Lamartiniere, Paul Laborde, Ted Guillot, Paul Daigrepont, Ivy Guillot, Jared Jeansonne, Troy Poret, and Jon Wagner.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home and will resume on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Recitation of the Holy Rosary conducted by the St. Genevieve Church Altar Society will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel, followed by expressions from Rev. Richard McGovern.
