Janette Gaspard, 95, Marksville

A Mass of Christian burial for Ms. Janette Cecelia Brouillette Littleton Gaspard will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville, LA. with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #1 in Marksville, LA. under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Ms. Gaspard, 95, of Marksville, LA., passed from this life on Thursday, November 11th, 2021 at Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville, LA.
Ms. Janette was born to Emily Normand and Emile Brouillette on June 22, 1926. Growing up she attended Presentation Catholic School and Marksville High School. She was a devout Catholic and attended Mass at Saint Joseph Catholic Church and was a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed babysitting for all her grandchildren outside the home on occasion. She had lots of friends and enjoyed outings. She lived on a 16 -acre farm and loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers, traveling, fishing, picnicking, movies, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Ms. Gaspard is preceded in death by her first husband, Edwis Littleton; second husband, Eric Gaspard; her parents, Emily and Emile Brouillette; sisters, Alice Normand, Jane Gaspard, brother, Calvin Brouillette; daughter in law, Sharon Littleton; son in law, Steve Gagnard.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Ronald Littleton of Walker, LA.; three daughters, Carol Gagnard, Cheryl Bryson (James), and Lana Lachney (Terrel) all of Marksville, LA. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Darby Lachney, Stevie Gagnard, Jeff Fletcher, Kelly Gauthier, Mike DeLeon, and Garret Gagnard.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 from 10:00a.m. until 12:45 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.
