Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Joseph Lacheney will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 15th, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers in Marksville, LA. with Rev. Richard Rambo and Rev. Cloise Cole officiating. Burial will be at Vick Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Mr. Lacheney, 90, of Vick, LA. passed from this life on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at Hessmer Nursing Home, Hessmer, LA.
Mr. Lacheney is preceded in death by his wife, Melba Jean Clark Lacheney; father, Lawrence Lacheney; mother, Lovie Lacheney Hayes; brother, Eugene Lacheney; granddaughter, Dyana Elise Lacheney; stepfather, Fred Hayes.
Those left to cherish his memories are his sons, “Buster’’ Lacheney (Lynn) of Vick, LA., Jessie Lacheney (Karen) of Kolin, LA.; daughter, Jackie Briscoe (Bob) of Catoosa, OK; brother, Curtly Hayes ( Lillian) of Meadeville, MS; eight grand children and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14th, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Beau Briscoe, Matthew Lacheney, Tyrel Lacheney, Darren Lacheney, Mackey Belgard, and Darrell Newell. Honorary pallbearers honored to serve will be Buster Lacheney and Jessie Lacheney.
