John William Carmouche,82, Fifth Ward

Funeral services for Mr. John William Carmouche will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Homes with Brother Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Mr. Carmouche, age 82, of Fifth Ward, LA. passed on Friday, September 22, 2023 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arceno and Dora Guillot Carmouche; daughter, Cheryl Lagrange; brothers, Sylvan Carmouche and infant brother Richard Carmouche; sisters, Lydia Dauzat, Delores Jeansonne, Rita Dupuy, and Nora Lemoine; and son in law, Roger Guillot.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Joyce Roberts Carmouche, daughters, Karen Guillot and Melissa Brouillette (Dean) both of Fifth Ward; one sister, Lessie Carmouche of Fifth Ward; three grandchildren, Candice Volker (Matt) of Marksville, Kristyn Guillot of Fifth Ward, Trent Brouillette (Annie) of Fifth Ward; six great grandchildren, Cadence Gremillion, Noah Volker, Tate Volker, Leah Brouillette, Cohen Minogue and Carter Brouillette; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
