Joseph Patterson, 82, Marksville

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Patterson, Jr. will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Marksville, with Pastor Michael Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral services at the funeral home.
Mr. Patterson, age 82, passed from this life on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Marksville at the Avoyelles Hospital.
Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Patterson; parents, Joseph, Sr. and Henrietta Alexander Patterson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Bobbie Sampy (John “Kevin”) of Marksville; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
