Katherine “Katie” B. Lemoine, 79, Center Point

A Mass of Christian Burial for Katherine “Katie” B. Lemoine will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward, La. with Fr. Albi Mulloth and Deacon Ken Primeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Kramer Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
Katherine “Katie” B. Lawrence, age 79, of Center Point, loving wife of Ivory Lemoine and mother of 5 children, entered eternal rest on July 19, 2023, in the Oak Haven Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, L.W. and Della Lawrence; sisters, Barbara Goudeau, Jackie Clark; brother, William Lawrence; her husband Ivory Lemoine; son Dallas “DD” Lemoine, and granddaughter, Briana Banks.
Those who are left to cherish her memory include her children, Annie Tyler, Christine Carmouche (Jeremy) both of Fifth Ward, Johnny Lemoine (Irma) of Pineville, Della Tyler (RJ) of Plaucheville; daughter-in-law, Sandy Lemoine of Deville; 10 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
Katie was a devote Catholic, and attended St. Winifred Catholic Church in Effie, La. She enjoyed traveling, painting, singing, baking, and sewing. Katie loved making rosaries for the Veterans and her church community. She especially enjoyed her Pokeno games with her friends of more than 25 years. She was a Postmaster Relief for the Center Point Post Office, and co-owner of Center Point and Fifth Ward Community Groceries. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Pallbearers to serve will be Michael Clark, David Jones, Dustin Brouillette, Braxton Guillory, Matthew Lemoine, and Daniel Goudeau.
