Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Dodge will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20th, 2022 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA. with Bro. Lou Gordon officiating. Burial will be held at Tyler Cemetery in Center Point, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Kenneth Dodge, age 72, of Center Point, LA. passed away on Friday, March 18th, 2022 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
Mr. Dodge is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Skursky Dodge; parents, Willie Lee and Bernice Josephine Dauzat Dodge; sister, Mary Ann Dodge; brother in laws, Jack Paul and Leonard Clark.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Steve Dodge (Brandie) of Center Point, LA., Joe Dodge (Debra) of Effie, LA., Allen Dodge (Sandra) of Center Point, LA.; brother in law, Many Skursky (Jolene) of Center Point, LA.; sisters, Ina Cooley (Jessie) of Center Point, LA., Jeanette Dauzat (Ricky) of Center Point, LA., Velda Paul of Effie LA., and Sally Clark of Vick, LA. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends. Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of the service.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Corey Cooley, Larry Dauzat, Stanley Skursky, Bryant Skursky, Joey Dodge, Stewart Clark, Garrett Bryant, and Dave Paul. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Clark and Jeffery Dodge.
