Landry James Gaspard, 79, Fifth Ward

Funeral services for Mr. Landry James Gaspard will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with Father Dan O’Connor officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mr. Gaspard, age 79, of Fifth Ward, LA passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents Curren and Alice Decuir Gaspard; brother, Lee Albert Gaspard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Ina Brouillette Gaspard of Fifth Ward, LA; daughter, Tiffany Gaspard Bordelon of Fifth Ward, LA; brother, Jeffrey Gaspard (Debra) of Marksville, LA; sister-in-law, Bernadine Gaspard of Marksville. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, James Landon Baronne, Tanner Nick Baronne, Olivia Lane Bordelon; 1 great-grandchild, Jasper Everett Baronne.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Landon Baronne, Tanner Baronne, Brett Gaspard, Wendell Guillot, Kristopher Brouillette, Jamie Bordelon.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Ken Primeaux. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until shortly before time of service in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.
