MORGANZA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Lane Anthony “Chickenman” Gaspard of Batchelor will be held on Friday, July 6 at 1 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 182 Church Street in Morganza and will officiated by Fr. Brent,
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morganza. 
Mr. Lane Anthony “Chickenman” Gaspard, of Batchelor, born on July 27, 1960 in Simmesport to Gloria Gaspard and the late Martin Gaspard, passed away at age 57 on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Baton Rouge. Lane graduated from Innis High School in 1979 and was a farmer at Lane Gaspard Farms. Lane was the loving husband of Stephanie Gaspard.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ruby Gaspard and Annie Desselle; grandfathers, Belton Gaspard and Amet (PT) Desselle; and dog, Salem.
Lane is survived by his son, Blake Gaspard; daughters, Fallon Gaspard and Cherie Little; brother, Marty Gaspard; sisters, Sheryl Janet, Christina Harrison, and Holly Gaspard; and granddaughter Sophie Gaspard. He also leaves behind his dog, Sansa.
