Lemule “Bo” Rex Nesbit, 87, Marksville

Graveside services for Mr. Lemule “Bo” Rex Nesbit will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2 in Marksville, LA. with Pastor Jeff Ingram officiating. Entombment will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2 under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mr. Nesbit, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 in his residence in Marksville, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Fred Nesbit and Martha Delaney Nixon; son, Alan Keith Nesbit; brothers, James (Hoss) Nesbit, Paul Nesbit, Porter Nesbit; sisters, Stella May Hill, Hollie Ermadean McHale, Leota Wiggins.

He drove a lumber truck for 23 years and was a salesman for Midstate Distributing for many years. In his younger days, he loved being with his family, hunting and fishing at the clubhouse.
He was a great storyteller, he loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger. He also loved working in his yard.
He served 50 years as a master mason in the Grand Lodge of Missouri.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years,
Naomi JoAnn Nesbit of Marksville; one daughter, DeNeica Ikerd (Greg) of Mansura; one son, Lemule Richard (Rick) Nesbit of Hessmer; one sister, Evelyn Faye Rogers; five grandchildren, Alan Keith Nesbit, Jr. (Jennifer) of Marksville; Mandy Hawkins (Timmy) of Shreveport; Misty James (Brady) of Hessmer; Summer Hvasta (Lucas) of Conroe, TX.; April Book (Josh) of Bunkie; Rikki Deaville (Coy) of Plaucheville; nine great grandchildren, and one on the way.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Marksville.
