Lila Dupuy, 88, Hessmer

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Mrs. Lila Guillot Dupuy will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Wade DeCoste officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery #2 under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mrs. Dupuy, age 88, of Hessmer, passed away on Monday, March 25th, 2024 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Dupuy, Sr.; parents, Florian and Ellie Guillot; son, Elson Dupuy; two brothers; one sister.

Those left to cherish his memory are her sons, Sterling “Dooney” Dupuy, Jr. of Marksville, Eugene Dupuy (Sharon) of Marksville, and Jason Dupuy of Hessmer; two grandchildren, Kimberly Dupuy, Meagan Sherman; one great grandchild, Dawson Sherman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville from 4:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Deacon Ken Primeaux officiating. Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 until time of service.
