Graveside services for Ms. Lucy Cole Harmson will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26th, 2021 at Richey Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Grady Dodge officiating. Entombment will be held at Richey Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Ms. Harmson, 91, of Center Point, LA. passed from this life on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Oak Haven Nursing Home in Center Point, LA.
Ms. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Harmson; parents, E.L. and Mary Wilson Cole; daughter, Doris Arnold; brothers, Odis Cole, Henry Cole, I.L. Cole, Emeric Cole; sisters, Rosella McCann, Julia Watts, Mattie Franks, Ollie Ryder, and Katie Lavespere.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Louie Patrick Harmson of Center Point, LA; daughters, Deanna McNeal (Jerry) of Center Point, LA., Rachel Zonneveld (Peter) of Pineville, LA; brothers, Jesse Cole (Gwen) of Bellwood, LA., V.W. Cole (Sandra) of Effie, LA., Kelly Cole of Van, TX.; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26th, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Craig Cole, Rayburn Cole, Chet Barron, Rick Watts, Kyle Cole, and Keith Harmson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Barron and Rayford Cole.
