Maggie Bordelon, 90, Big Bend

Funeral Mass for Maggie Mae Clark Bordelon of Big Bend will take place at the St. Peter Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Friday, February 10th, 2023 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Louis Sklar officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Maggie Bordelon, age 90, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Center of Simmesport on Monday, February 6th, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Connie Gaspard (Eddie Ray) of Morganza, Lois Jeansonne (Richard) of Simmesport, Wilburn Bordelon of Livonia, and Eric Bordelon (Rhonda) of Marksville; sister, Lorraine Adams; step-sister, Ernestine Cooper; and sister-in-law, Marie “Mimi” Clark. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Bordelon; parents, Charlie and Daisy Arnouville Clark; brothers, James “Jay” Clark and Charles Gene Clark; sisters, Delores Rachal, Brenda Ortego, and Linda Polkey.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at the St. Peter Catholic Church Hall of Bordelonville.
