MANSURA - Funeral service for Martha Jean Hensell of Mansura will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura on Saturday, July 7, 2018 beginning at 10 a.m. with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Burial will commence at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Cemetery. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
Martha Hensell, age 36, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1982.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Merle Hensell, Joyce Hensell, and Mary Jean Nicols.
She is survived by her father, Merle (Madeline) Hensell of Mansura; mother, Rhonda (John) Mozingo of Michigan City, Indiana; brother, Matthew (Nikki) Hensell of Pineville; step-sisters, Stacey Pontiff, Casey Gremillion and Raina Ducote; grandfather, Rudy Nichols; uncles, Mark (Judy) Hensell, Mike Hensell and Walter C. (Tina) Nichols; aunt, Mary (Tim) Schram; and niece and nephews, Ashton, Andrew, and Madison.
