Martha Jeannette (Carter) Reynolds, 74, Bunkie native

Martha Jeannette (Carter) Reynolds, age 74, died unexpectedly in her home on March 15, 2024. She was the wife of the late, Ernest “Coon” Reynolds. She was born on September 13, 1949, in Bunkie. La.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her son, Tracy Reynolds, son Brent Reynolds and wife Jenny; 3 grandchildren: Breana Reynolds, Madison Reynolds and Zachary Reynolds, and daughter Tonya Reynolds and 3 grandchildren: Blayne Stewart, Adrianna Stewart, and Jenna Guidry, as well as 4 great-grandchildren: Remington, Charlotte, Juliette and Greyson. She also leaves behind a brother, Bill Carter and his wife Doris, and a sister, Eunice and her husband, Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at Grangeville Baptist Church in Pine Grove, La. on Thursday, March 21st from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The family will also receive friends on March 22nd from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m.

A private graveside service will be held at Reynolds Cemetery in Darlington, La., located at 380 Aunt Margies Rd.
