Funeral Mass for Mary Frances Lemoine of Simmesport will begin at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Simmesport with Fr. Kurian officiating. Entombment will follow at the Christ the King Mausoleum in Simmesport.

Mary Frances Lemoine, age 97, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Bayou Chateau Nursing Home in Simmesport.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Terry A. Lemoine; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom all affectionately called her “Aunt Mary”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Currie Lemoine; children, Gary Wayne Lemoine and Pamela Lemoine; grandchild, Caleb Lemoine; parents, John Augustus Schuffert & Essie Barnes Schuffert; and her sisters, Verna & Mary.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 at Escude Funeral Home in Simmesport.
