Mary Humphries, 81, Hessmer

A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Mary Laborde Humphries will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Humphries, age 81, of Hessmer, LA. passed away on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 at Rapides Regional Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmore and Eugenia Aymond Laborde; brothers, Harvin Laborde and Percy Laborde; and one sister, Dorothy Ducote.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Glenn Phonthieux of Fifth Ward, LA.; daughter, Angela Palmer of Texas City, TX.; brother Charles Laborde of Mansura, LA.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 am until 10:45 am on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Homes in Marksville, LA.
