McWayne James Dauzat, age 53 of Fifth Ward

Funeral Services for McWayne James Dauzat will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Lamartiniere, officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Cemetery in Fifth Ward under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.
McWayne James Dauzat, age 53 of Fifth Ward, passed away at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in Jefferson, LA on Saturday, April 3, 2021.
McWayne was a kind hearted, lovable man. He spent most of his days outdoors, where he loved to fish and hunt. His grandkids were one of the many things that kept him happy.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Courtney (Joseph) Michot of Hessmer, Gregory Dauzat of Fifth Ward, Kasey Dauzat of Fifth Ward, siblings, Bryan (Monica) Dauzat of Fifth Ward, Alan (Shawn) Davis of Hessmer, Sandra (Jamie) Bordelon of Fifth Ward, Melissa (Jody) Bernard of Monroe, grandchildren, Grayson Michot, Carter Michot and Lainey Dauzat.
McWayne was preceded in death by his parents, Gerard and Lois Lemoine Dauzat and brothers, Michael and Gregory Dauzat.
