Mildred Ferry, 98, of Mansura

Memorial services for Mrs. Mildred A. Bordelon Ferry will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 1st, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Marksville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Ms. Ferry, age 98, of Mansura, LA. passed from this life on Saturday, September18th, 2021 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, LA.
Mrs. Ferry is preceded in death by her husband, Grealy Joseph Ferry; parents, Lanson and Irene Ponthieux Bordelon; son, Kenneth Wayne Ferry; daughter, Barbara Gail Ferry; brother, Byron Bordelon and sister, Annette Daniels.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Grady Ferry (Keith) of The Woodlands, TX; daughter, Sheila Carter of Baton Rouge; and daughter in law, Vera Ferry. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
