Nolan Glen Fuqua, 66, Pineville

Services for Nolan Glen Fuqua will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Dewayne Irwin officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.

Mr. Fuqua, 66, of Pineville, passed from this life, Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

During his working career, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Bordelon Service station, Glass Specialties and Scott Truck and Tractor Equipment Company. He enjoyed cooking, eating and joking around. He was considered HillTop Nursing Home’s Weather man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Nolan and Diretha Iles Fuqua; brother, Bobby Fuqua and great niece, Elisa Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Brenda Baden (Gary), Donna Paul (Bill); brother, Richard Fuqua (Jessica) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Jerry Baden, Sr., David Tyler, Colton Knuckols, Austin Thiels, Jeff Thiels and Jerry Baden, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Mercer and Glenn Newman.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Rapides ICU employees and the Staff at Hilltop Nursing Home for their many years of love and care.
