Patricia Laborde, 53, Bunkie

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Wiley Laborde will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will be at Lamartiniere Cemetery in Fifthward, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Laborde, age 53, of Bunkie, LA. passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2022 at her home in Bunkie, LA. with her family surrounded by her side. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Wiley.

Patricia enjoyed spending her spare time with her grandchildren making memories. She worked for many years at The Grand Casino as a food line cook in the buffet. Anytime there was a Pokeno game going on she was sure to be there, because Pokeno was her favorite pastime!

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Harvey Laborde; son, Clint Wiley (Emily) of West Monroe, LA. and Leon Wiley (Emilie) of Athens, TX.; mother, Bernice Wiley; sister, Marie Romero; brother, Johnny Wiley; brother-n-laws, Blaine Laborde and Johnny Laborde. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Buster Rodriguez, Steve Aymond, Austin Ducote, Dustin Sampson, Robert Laborde, Jason Roberts, Patrick Laborde, and David Sampson. Honorary pallbearers are Evan Wiley and Tanner Wiley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home and will resume on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. until time of the service.
