Patsy Dubroc, 73, Hessmer

A Mass of Christain burial for Mrs. Patsy Cazelot Dubroc will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer with Father Derek Ducote officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Dubroc, age 73, of Hessmer, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eston, Sr. and Lila Ortego Cazelot; one brother, Eston “Diddy” Cazelot, Jr.; and two sisters, Janel “Nanny” Chenevert and Joyce Ducote.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, James Dubroc of Hessmer; son Jamie Dubroc (Candace) of Hessmer; daughter, Vickie Dubroc (Pete Montalvo) of Hessmer; brothers, Bobby Cazelot (Judy) of Hessmer and Bruce Cazelot (Robin) of Bunkie; one sister; Lois Gonzales (Mike) of Bunkie; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Zachary Dubroc, Steven Moulard, Devin Moulard, Brandon Moulard, Austin Montalvo and Aaron O’Neal.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Chapel and will reopen on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in Parlor A at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
