Paul Milton Beach II, 79

Paul Milton Beach II, 79, passed away during a brief hospital stay on February 5, 2023. His daughters were by his side.
Paul was born on May 2, 1943, in New Orleans and attended Holy Cross High School, before joining the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in the early days of the war in Vietnam. He was the second of five children to Paul I and Ruth Vicknair Beach. His beloved wife Deanna Chatelain Beach preceded him in death; as did his parents, sister Pamela Beach and son Paul Beach III.
He is survived by daughters Christina Thielst and Angelic Beach, son-in-laws Geoff Thielst and James Crowley, siblings Susan Cook, Shari Beach and Richard Beach and seven grandchildren – Catherine, Christian (Brittany) and Sarah Thielst, Christopher and Mason Beach and Savannah and James Crowley. He will also be missed by a special advocate and caregiver - Cindy.
The family thanks the nurses, doctors, social workers, pharmacists, technicians, and other staff of New Orleans VA Medical Center. So many went out of their way to provide exceptional care.
A mass to celebrate his life will be held at Our Lady of Divine Providence in Metairie, LA; on a date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Philomena Shrine at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Mansura, LA.
