Paula McKay, 66, Hamburg

Funeral Mass for Paula Reason McKay will be held October 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Rexmere. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be October 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
McKay, 66 of Hamburg, died October 21 at Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville.
Paula loved working outside in her flower bed planting beautiful flowers. She worked for years in Alexandria at The Winner Circle Off Track Betting as manager. She then started working at Paragon Casino when it opened in Avoyelles Parish as a dealer then later as the manager of the Off Track Betting for 15 years before retiring because of her disability. She was also an avid bowler and bowled the highest game by a woman with a score of 299 on November 12, 1990.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years,
Emile McKay of Hamburg; sisters, Rhonda Kimball (Charles Raborn) of Moreauville; Deborah Brou (Louie) of Mansura and Karen Guillory (Gary) of Gardner; brother, Brent Reason (Yalonda) of Moreauville; sisters-in-law, Joann Daigrepont of Marksville and Darlene McKay of Hessmer; brother- in-law, Bruce McKay of Marksville; nieces and nephews, Penny, Shane, Cory, Casey, Jessica, Brandon, and Kelly; great-nieces and nephews, Joshua, Zachary, Madison, Hudson, Jordan, Mackenzie, Carson, Harlee, Lawrence, Hailey, Cameron, Hudson, Abby, and Devery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Rose Reason; maternal grandparents, Verdis Lemoine and Winston Brouillette and paternal grandparents, Osma and Eulalie Reason.
Pallbearers will be: Casey Walker, Charles Raborn, Brent Reason, Gary Guillory, Kevin Walker, and Brandon Kimball
