Rachel Desoto, 59, of Marksville

Services for Mrs. Rachel Carmouch Desoto will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marksville with Fr. Luke LaFleur officiating. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Mausoleum #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Desoto, age 59, of Marksville, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2021 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Wilson Joseph Desoto; parents, Sylvan and Jenny Carmouche; brother, Chris Carmouche and sister Janell Carmouche.

She is survived by her son, Adam Desoto (James Derrick Ryder) of Hessmer; daughter, Janell Desoto Dauazt (Duston) of Hessmer; sisters, Jenny Dauzat (Raymond) of Marksville; Lois Bardwell (Michael) of Pineville; Joyce Brocato (Leon) of Dry Prong and two grandchildren, Landon Dauzat and Mollie Rae Dauzat of Hessmer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
