Raymond L. Gauthier, 80, Cottonport

Funeral Mass for Raymond Louis Gauthier of Cottonport will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. John Wiltse officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s #2 Cemetery.

Raymond L. Gauthier, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol P. Gauthier of Cottonport; daughter, Marie Gauthier of Cottonport; sons, David (Dana) Gauthier, Clint (Jennifer) Gauthier, and Mark Gauthier all of Cottonport; brothers, Ted Gauthier of New Orleans, Sidney “Pit” Gauthier of Cottonport, and Christopher Gauthier of Cottonport. He is also survived by grandchildren, Kate Elizabeth Bordelon, Joshua St. Germain, Victoria St. Germain, and Shelbie Michel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon “Duke” Gauthier and Mattie Juneau Gauthier.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:30am on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Rosary prayer will begin at 11:40am at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church.
