Robert DuPont, 67, Bunkie

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Robert "Bobby" Clarence Dupont, Jr. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating. Burial will be in Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
The family requests visitation be observed at Melancon Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Mr. Dupont, age 67, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was a sign technician at Capital Signs and Awnings in Bunkie. He was an usher at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Rachal Dupont and his parents, Robert C. and Genevieve Barre Dupont.
He is survived by his two sons, Bobby Jr. Dupont and wife , Shawntell, of Bunkie and Baylen Dupont of Bunkie; his two sisters, Debra Dupont of Marksville and Peggy Kidder of Bunkie and five grandchildren.
