EFFIE - Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Hutchings will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Phillip Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in French Cemetery in Effie under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
  Visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 8 a.m. until time of service.
  Mr. Hutchings, age 86, of Colfax, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in The Summit Retirement Center. Born on October 2, 1931, Ronald was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran serving his country proudly in the Korean War. He was a retired heavy equipment operator where he was a member of The Local #178. He enjoyed golfing and gardening. Ronald will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
  Mr. Hutchings is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Alma Hutchings; his son, Keith Hutchings; his sister, Sandra Groves; and his brothers, Thomas Hutchings and Eldon Hutchings.
  Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of 18 years, Maria Wiley Hutchings of Pineville; his daughters, Ronda Hutchings of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Anna Wiley of Pineville and Della (Nicholas) Lemoine of Pineville; his sons, Stephen (Brenda) Wiley of Pineville and Thomas (Evelyn) Wiley of Gambrills, Maryland; his sisters, Gladie Hayden of New Mexico and Jean Burke of Colfax; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
  Pallbearers honored to serve will be Stephen Wiley, Clay Fuqua, Jason Wiley, Thomas Wiley, Justin Merrite, Gary Choates, Marshall Burks and Derek Despino. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Lemoine and Christopher Dubea.
