Survivors include her daughter, Anne Theriot Birnkammer and husband, Georg; grandsons, Joseph and Thomas Theriot, and their mother, Laura Theriot; sister, Dee Dee Irion; stepdaughters, Vicki McMinn Delhomme and husband, Danny, and Sharon McMinn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Yennie Zeno and Helena Michot Gauthier; husband, John Francis McMinn, Jr.; sons, Robert Louis and Daniel Zeno Theriot; brothers, YZ, Gene, and Tee Gauthier; sisters, Audrey Fuqua and Lorraine Cantin.

Born in Cottonport, Louisiana, Roseanne was the youngest of seven children. She proved to have many artistic talents from a very young age and pursued drawing, dance, and music. Although she never learned to read music, she could pick up any instrument and play it by ear. She also loved the outdoors and was fascinated with the night sky, always eager to identify planets and stars on a clear night. She graduated from Cottonport High School where she was a majorette. After graduation, she moved to Lafayette to attend SLI (now UL Lafayette) and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Here, she met her first husband, Robert Lee Theriot, the father of her three children. Roseanne worked for the Lafayette Daily Advertiser as an artist. Later, she worked for ARCO Oil and Gas as a draftsman before retiring as the drafting supervisor. While at ARCO, she met her second husband, John Francis McMinn. They were married twenty-eight years. Together, they shared a love of the outdoors, art, history and traveling. They traveled extensively, often on their motorcycle and spending much of their time fishing at their camp in Bayou Du Large. Roseanne loved getting together and laughing with her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and many friends. She continued to draw, paint, and play guitar and piano well into her 80's. Roseanne leaves behind a legacy of humor, fun, and general joie de vivre, and she will be greatly missed.
