Rothel Theodore Franklin, 47, Cottonport

Funeral Mass for Rothel Theodore “Teddy” Franklin of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Saturday, June 24th, 2023 beginning at 12:00pm with Rev. John Wiltse officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.

Teddy, age 47, passed away at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX on Sunday, June 18th, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Keyanna Franklin of Alexandria and Ricky Franklin of Tennesse; fiancé, Tracy Jacob of Cottonport; parents, Joseph Franklin and Katie Kirk; sisters, Nicki Kirk of Cottonport, Vicki Kirk Lavalais (Donterius) of Cottonport, and Mya Franklin of Florida; brother, Chris Augustine of Marksville.

Visitation will begin on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport and will resume Saturday morning at 9:00am. A rosary will be recited before mass at 11:40am at the church.
