Ruston was known for his tireless work ethic, earning him the reputation of being a "King" of all trades. Beyond his work, Ruston was also a culinary master. His meals were not just food; they were expressions of love and creativity that brought joy to all who tasted them. Ruston always believed that his dishes needed a lot of flavor. His favorite dish to cook for people was rice and gravy outside by a fire. Ruston also enjoyed a chilled Bud Light Platinum from a bottle alongside a shot of Crown Royal.

Ruston lived a life fueled by his unyielding passion for all things mechanical. Born with a curiosity that knew no bounds, he found joy in dismantling gadgets and machines, solely to understand their inner workings and enjoyed reassembling his mechanical marvels.

A true adrenaline enthusiast, Ruston was drawn to the thrill of speed. Whether it was the sleek power of crotch rockets tearing up the asphalt or the rugged adventure of dirt bikes conquering the trails, Ruston was always in his element, embracing the rush that came with every twist of the throttle. Ruston’s passion was driving whether it was operating 18 wheelers or tractors.

Ruston enjoyed the art of bowfishing and traveling. His adventurous spirit led him to explore many corners of the United States. He traveled throughout New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and West Virginia. However, it was in the Sunshine State of Florida where Ruston found his true joy.
