Sandra Lachney, 66, Marksville

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Sandra Faye Lachney will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward, LA. with Father Kurian Zachariah officiating. Interment will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery #3. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Lachney, age 66, of Marksville, LA. passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Riviere De Soleil Community Care Center in Mansura, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel, Sr. and Anna Carter Lachney; brother, Daniel Lachney, Jr.; sister, Debbie Lachney; nephew, Lil Danny.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Larry Dauzat, Jr. (Laurie) of Marksville, LA.; three daughters, Melissa Bonnette (Keith) of Marksville, LA.; Marsha Coco (Mike) of Hessmer, LA.; Chantelle Guillot (Jeremy) of Marksville, LA.; one brother, Danny Lachney, Sr. of Belledeau; six sisters, Brenda Bordelon, Judy St. Romain, Darlene Lachney, Donna Jemello, Angela Lachney all of Marksville, LA., and Eunice Cole of Hessmer, LA. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, Brittany Ardoin, Keith Bonnette, Jr., Bethany Bonnette, Kortnie Dauzat, Michael Dauzat, Jr., Rebecca Dauzat, Alisha Cotton, Brianna Guillot, Kaitlyn Guillot, Kelsey Guillot, Dylan Dauzat, Sophie Rose Dauzat, Allie Dauzat, Bentley Dauzat, B.J. Brouillette, Jr.; great grandchildren, Luke, Reed, ChrisAnn, Topher, Maddie, Braylen, Connor, J.J., and Aubrey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service on Thursday in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
