Sandy Guillot Rachal

Funeral services to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2024, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville with Reverend Richard McGovern officiating. The burial will be in Belledeau Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Sandy Guillot Rachal, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the age of 60.

Known for her love of flowers, cooking, and animals, Sandra had a talent for bringing stories to life with her captivating storytelling. Her warm and welcoming presence always brightened the lives of those around her. She was a beloved member of the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Marksville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Alice Lachney Carter, and daughter, Lacey George Hathaway.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Bobbie McGraw (Kelsey), and Samantha “Boo Boo” Bullock (Justin); brothers, Morris Carter (Regina), Michael Carter (Rhonda), and Pete Guillot; grandchildren, Kaylie (Douglas), Brady, Kaden (Laken), Devin, Dylan, Aerial, Lexi (Punkin), Izzy B.; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Violet, and Drake and her beloved fur baby, Cujo.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Douglas Clark, Kaden George, Sheldon Hathaway, Bear Setliff, Sonny Mockosher, and Waylon Mockosher. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelsey McGraw, and Justin Bullock.

Sandy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
