SFC. Anthony David Koll, 32, Idaho

Funeral services for Mr. SFC. Anthony David Koll will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with the U.S.A. Army Chaplain officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.

Mr. Koll, age 32, of Boise, Idaho passed on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

SFC. Anthony David Koll entered Active Duty Army on June 9, 2009 most recent assignment was Boise Recruiting Company, Salt Lake Recruiting Battalion, UA Army Recruiting Command. Awards earned in his distinguished career included, Army Commendation Medal, 3 , Army Achievement Medal W/C Device, Army Good Conduct Medal, 4 , National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/Bronze Service Star, 2 , Iraq Campaign Medal w/Bronze Service Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon, 2 , Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, 2 , NATO Medal, in addition he also received was, Meritorious Unit Commendation (Army), Combat and Special Skill Badge Marksmanship Qual Badge and Bar, Weapon: Pistol (Inscription: Pistol) Expert. His professionalism, dedication to duty brought great credit to himself, Recruiting Command, all units in which he served, and the United States Army as a whole. He will be greatly missed by all who served with him and knew him as a leader, mentor and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kristen Koll of Effie; sons, Eric Koll and Brayden Laprairie both of Effie; daughter, Kyra Koll of Effie; parents, David and Brandy Koll of Oregon; brother, Brian Koll of Arizona; step brother, Tommy Hemmer of Oregon; step sisters, Kendall and Shelby Hemmer both of Oregon.
