Sharonn Latrice Lavalais, age 47, of Cottonport

Funeral services for Mrs. Sharonn Latrice Lavalais will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, LA. with Rev. Gary L. Ford officiating. Burial will be held at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bordelonville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Sharonn Latrice Lavalais, age 47, of Cottonport, LA. passed away at Jena Nursing and Rehab Center in Jena, LA. on Monday, May 2, 2022.
Mrs. Lavalais is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Thomas Ford.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Louis Lavalais; daughters, Shaneqia Lavalais and Shalana Lavalais both of Cottonport, LA.; brothers, Harold Ford, Jr (Caldonia), Michael Ford (Amanda), and Cedric Johnson all of Marksville, LA; sisters, Latoya Ford of Alexandria, LA., Constance Ford of Marksville, LA., and Charlotte Charles (Jeremy) of Opelousas, LA. father, Donald Ray Johnson.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Vantavas Joseph, Da’ Shawn Davis, La’ Corian Ford, La’ Varion Palmer, Brandon Palmer, Jr., Marquis Ford, and Braylin Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Ford, Jr., Michael Ford, Cedrick Johnson, Antonio Ford, Sr., Keivan Williams, and Skip Nickerson.
