Shirley Dauzat, 64, Hessmer

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Shirley Jean Dauzat will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Belledeau, LA. with Father Edwin Rodriguez officiating. Interment will be at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Dauzat, age 64, of Hessmer, LA. passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earlin Gauthier and Judy Armand; brother, Ricky Gauthier.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 28 years, Donald Dauzat; sons, Michael Guillot, Richard Guillot, Jeffery Hullett; daughters, Christy (Dwaine) Dauzat and Santanna Hullett; step-sons, Dwaine Dauzat, Jeremy Dauzat; brothers, Robert Gauthier, Rodger Gauthier; sister, Debra Wilkes; 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 10p.m. and will reopen on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Michael Guillot, Dwaine Dauzat, Dylan Dauzat, Landon Guillot, Richard Guillot, and Jeffery Hullett.
